Hey!

I wonder if anyone knows where can I get PC socket cover, or remote cable-port covers and things like that? I recently lost PC cover from my Aria and can't figure out where can I get this stuff (if at all).

> [Try Micro-Tools -www.micro-tools.com- who sell the Nikon PC socket which I rate as compatible but I am not sure. There's the phrase "it will fit if it looks as if it will fit"

Or you can try ti order them directly from kyocera US. In www.kyoceraimaging.com you can download the Aria parts catalogue and order parts directly from the web.

Good luck.

Hello Mike,
In the UK you can get bits like that direct from Kyocera so it may be the sane in the US.

Robert,

Thanks to the link for MicroTools company. I will check it out. As far as parts catalog for Aria goes - where have you seen it on Kyocera's website? I can't find it...

Hi Mike,

Just a quickie.
Some of the 'stoppers' at the top of disposable ball point pens will fit various camera sockets.

Paul,

Hey, thanks a lot. That helps. I will try to call them up to find out how much will it cost me. Maybe I will order at least two, just in case

> [Mike, some posts before someone posted the link to the kyocera site. However, if you are don't suceed, try in www.kyoceraimaging.com. Then go to film cameras, Contax, select "aria", and then go to "support" or "product support". There you will be able to find the parts catalogue. Please note I don't have the web page here and I am putting on the post my previous experience, so the page may have changed slightly. If you give me your mail I can send you the parts manual on pdf which I downloaded from Kyocera's site.

First thing I do with a new camera is strip it of all those plastic plugs and put them in a film container in the Camera's box. Huge PITA to keep track of, and a time waster looking for replacements.

The plastic plug on the back of my RX fell off when I was taking it out of my closet this weekend. It landed on the floor but I found it. Since I don't use the remote socket (or whatever it is that the little plug covers) I glued the thing to the hole using superglue.
