SD cameras and Zeiss glass

DSG not bad...I thought you found a place to by a replacement...did you have to re-drill the screw holes...??

Yes, and countersink them too. The only lens I've converted to SA mount where I did'nt have to redrill the securing holes through the SA mounting plate was the Carl Zeiss 28mm f2.8 Distagon T*...Oddly, its four mounting plate securing holes are located quite close to the rear element, and within the bore diameter of an SA mounting plate. So I simply turned up an Aluminium retaining/securing ring on my lathe, drilled and countersunk it with the necessary securing holes and used it to clamp the SA plate into place...It also acts as the bezel ring, to stop dust getting into the back of the lens:
