Hi!
I'm just curious, does anyone know of a good source of information regarding protection of our most important photographic asset - our eyes? Recently I have been reading some things about it and even came across an article that explained results of one of most recent researches which concludes that UV light and light in blue spectrum may be one of the most damaging things to our eyes. But I haven't seen anything detailed - designed to educate everyday people, not scientists. For instance, it's a common knowledge that you should never stare at the Sun (would damage your retina, which doesn't heal, thus this type of damage is irreversible). But what about seeing partially obstructed Sun through trees in the woods, or while driving, or what happens when you get some Sun in the corner of your viewfinder while you have red-filter on your lens, etc. Not much information seems available, hence I wonder if anyone has any links to share.
Thanks!
