Nikon EH5 vs EH6 AC Adapters for D100D200

Is there really a difference between the EH-5 (for D100) and EH-6 (for D200) AC Adapters?

Will the EH-5 work with a D200?

Just answered my own question...the DC connector on the D200 is different than the one on the D100, so the D100 EH-5 AC Adapter won't fit the D200!

But my original question still stands. Is there a difference between the DC inputs of two cameras that requires a different connector? Or did Nikon just change it for no reason?
