Nikon D80 Sigma Flash

Hello, does anyone have experience with the Sigma 500 Super - Flash.
I want to know that al the functions (i-ttl) are working with the D80. It seems to be a good alternative for the SB 800 which cost twice the price.
Or is the SB 800 much better.....
