Hi everyone. I first thought about getting into Hasselblads about 25 years ago - needless to say it didn't happen.
I got back into photography about 5 years ago and have enjoyed using some fabulous Nikon digital gear.
Tonight I am on a new threshhold for this very day I ordered a 503CX/A12/80mm lens plus a spare back, a 50 mm lens, a light meter, an Epson V750 scanner and the usual jumble of films, chemicals, containers, tanks, thermometers, jars & bottles etc.
It all arrives tomorrow & I have to admit I'm like a kid at Christmas.
I am looking forward to making use of this stunning equipment and hope to let you know how I get on in between perhaps picking your brains from time to time.
Wish me luck!

You waited quite some time but now you really took the plunge.

Take time to get used to what you got before you spend more money.

Too much gear can be confusing especially now you are planning to develop the films yourself.

First thing worth checking to avoid a disappointment is the condition of the light seals in the film backs.

Remove the darkslide and hold the film area of the back under a desk lamp.
If you can't see any light shining through the opening for the dark slide the light seals are ok.

Enjoy the journey......Hasselblad is superb equipment and a pleasure to use.
