Hasselblad X5 "white calibration overexposed"

Even after doing a white calibration, any attempt to scan or preview in our X5 (attached to a Mac Pro, running FlexColor) returns the error message: "White calibration overexposed". Has anyone else experienced this issue? And if so, was there an on-site troubleshoot that could be done?

Your white balance is too bright which is why you are getting the error message, the best thing to do is meter from the white subject and then either use the reading which should turn the white to a mid grey or adjust your exposure to deliberately underexpose prior to doing your white balance.
