F90xN90S meter bon timeb setting

How do I adjust the meter 'on time' from the standard 8 second default setting? I want to increase to 16 seconds. The main manual refers to a 'Photo Secretary', is this a CD and the only way to adjust? My f100 & f5 can be adjusted using a custom function on the camera.
Appreciate any help. Thanks, Tom
