35mm SummicronM Asph flare

I recently bought a new Leica M7 and 35mm lens, as above. Just got my first film back, and I'm delighted with them - the lens often does give a 3D feel. However, on three of the pictures (obviously contre-jour) there is a lot of flare (lenshood on permanently). One of the pictures has a bright orange polygon in the middle of the picture. Is this common in this lens? Cleaned it, carefully, for the first time yesterday, and surprised to note that it has a concave front element! Still delighted with the lens, and the camera, I'll just be more careful in future.

Thanks for the quick reply. Will post the picture over the next few days - a film scanner is arriving soon. >

... and if the picture is not bigger tham 300x300 pixel and 50KB, you can also upload the test-photo in this thread itself...
