Thank you. The lens now sits on my shelf but I have had other photographers also mention that they were not pleased with the sharpness of this lens.

So, what do you plan to do with this lens? Let it sit on the shelf?

Has anyone ever had success with the Hasselblad Zeiss Tele-Tessar C 500 mm f/8.0 Lens? I have never had a really sharp image from this lens even at high shutter speeds on a tripod. The images appear soft with a considerable amount of chromatic aberration.

I just bought a Hasselblad Zeiss Tele-Tessar C 500 mm f/8.0 Lens which I mounted on a tripod and I could focus sharply. The lens needed to go back to the seller who will have a CLA done on the lens and return it to me. I will keep the forum posted.
