What telephoto is best?

I'm looking for a telephoto lens capable of 600mm for my Sony Alpha a6000. The Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports seems great, but I would like to have your opinions. What so you think? Thanks!

I did never use (or tried out) the Sigma 60-600 but at that pricepoint I would keep it native with the Sony FE 200-600 as it is still (widely) regarded the best Sony 600mm option bar the very expensive Sony 600mm F/4 lens.

Since you are considering a combination with the a6000 I'd have to say it would be wiser replacing the a6000 with a better suited camera. Allthough the a6000 delivers on image quality it will not deliver on general AF speed when combined with any long telephoto lens. For instance 600mm combinations with the a6300 or with the a6500 will be much faster allready but to be able to really utilize any 600mm's true potential you would need atleast an a6100, a6400 or an a6600. I have used the entire a6xxx line in combination with the 200-600mm (and also with the Sigma 150-600mm) except for the a6600 and experienced big differences in overal responsiveness and AF speed. Had I known sooner about these differences, being a birder, I would have never gotten the a6000 in the first place.

I use a Sigma 150-600mm (contemporary model, not sport) and I absolutely love it. I originally ordered the 50-500mm, but I only had it a week - it was so darn heavy that I missed more shots than I got.
