What is your experience with the this camera, what is your way of using it?

I had one, sold it to buy a 90 mm I now seldom use. I wish I still had my M4...

I am having focusing problems with the M4...the images line up horizontally, but not vertically...any suggestions? Thanks!

Will: sounds as if your rf is out of alignment and needs adjusting. My M6 went out slightly the same way.

I was able to use my local Leica technician to do it on the spot, which was a lot cheaper than sending it to Leica. Come to think of it, he didn't even charge me!

Any of you had previous experience with the Leica M4-2? Mine is serial # 1506***.

I bought my M4-2 used in 1986. I bought it because I did not want the extra 75 mm framelines. I have used it interchangably with my M4. I find little or no difference in the way they handle.

If yours has not had a recent Clean, Lube, and Adjust by a competant technician have it done soon.

I think I'll send some of my equipment to CLA. The service per camera here in Mexico is about US 140.00 with the Leica authorized Dealer. With my M-6 I think some adjustment must be done with the focusing mechanism "the images line up horizontally, but not vertically". The M4-2 seems to be OK. In fact I think it is lighter than my M-6 and feel very good in the hand, I´ll probe it on friday, and post the images as soon as possible, so iI can received your opinion about them.
