The beauty of ancient cemeteries

I like to set me a photographic topic and work for it for quite some time .
This was industrial architecture and gravel pits with their machinery , in the past , and I still love it .
But I thought its time for a change and I found more or less just by luck , the topic of ancient graveyards and old gravestones .
Has anybody here ever worked on this or a similar topic ? ? ? Any ideas for this topic are wellcome .

I have decided to use my SONY @7II camera + the new zoom FE 20-70 4 G for it and am pleased so far with the results .

Let me start with an image taken at an old graveyard , which was used from about 1550 up to 1920 . Here you will find mostly family graves of rich people of the town of MEMMINGEN .
South Germany . The grave yard is not used any more but it is a wonderful , very peaceful little park . Many tombs are still very well preserved .

The images I have posted here are exemplary . I still have some more , but I do not want to bore the forum members .
I will return to the cemetery in autumn , when the the foilage of the trees has turned into the beautiful autumn colors .

I hope , that other members would show more of their work . A forum lives not only by discussions , but by many images of the members .

AUTUMN has not arrived yet . In the meantime , I have been to a very small old cemetery in FÜSSEN (South Germany) Here two images . It was a very sunny day , therefore the images show the high contrast , which i do not really like .
