A nearly perfect (pretty rare) Spiny Murex shell from the island of Saipan (where I was born). The shell is only about 5 inches long.

Hasselblad 500CM, 150mm f/4 Sonnar C T* with a 0.5m Proxar close-up lens on a piece of glass to add the reflection. Kodak Ektar 100 and scanned with a Nikon Super Coolscan LS-8000

Magnificent image! I'm new to scanning with the Nikon Coolscan and will appreciate any tips. I'm shooting Ektar 100 and have a Canon IPF6450 printer (24" roll stock).
