Some lens focal lengths are not available in the manual lens input to stabilize adapted lenses

I noticed there are no in between values other than maybe what Nikon offered in their old F-mount line up as input to the manual lens setup for stabilization; e.g., I found 20mm but no 19mm, 86mm or 100mm but no 90mm. Am I to choose the next higher value or the past lower value to use?
