Rubber eyecup for leica re or rseries up to r7

I own an Leica R-E camera body with Elmarit-R 90mm,2.8 lens. I need an rubber eyecup to keep out extraneous light from the viewfinder and also give me a better view of the image.
They are very hard to find, anyway I can improvise or is there a company that makes a rubber eyecup similar.

R9 eye cup will still fit R6-7 cameras, the large plastic base covers the diopter setting knob, but that's all. They are also not as good quality as the earlier versions.
