Rts 11 is eating battery

My camera is draining my px28 s in no time, I have to continually remove it after shooting, apart from that the camera works fine. What would I expect to pay, just to have some specialist look at it even before repair bill. (i.e.- labour time to just inspect it). Thanks to anyone in advance for any feedback. I am in Scotland by the way and I dont know of any contax/yashica authorised dealer around my neck of the woods.

But before doing that, have you checked that the contacts inside the battery compartment are clean?
