What interested me here was the presence of red graffiti, a small, rather damaged information plaque and a logo indicating access to a gas supply. You can see this photo either as a criticism of the mania for decorating city streets with garish slogans, or as a symbol of freedom breaking down barriers. The flame is a reminder of how explosive the subject of freedom and its limits can be.
