Front cap for 35 Summilux PreAsph

Hi,

I just bought a used 35 'Summilux, but there is no front cap. I know it uses Leica 12504 hood and Series 7 filter. However, I have no idea of the front cap. Please advice me which one I should use.

For Tsang Kin Lung, Leitz's July 1982 Handbook says that the lens cap for the 35mm/1.4 Summilux -- starting at Serial No. 2,166,701-- is #14,143. I can't find a picture of one but the outside diameter of the lens, Leitz says, is 42mm. I would use whichever one fits. --bob cole
