The Maxxum 600si (in Europe it is called 600si classic), was the first attempt of Minolta to go back to the old style of camera design. The 600 si has again knobs and wheels for choosing your settings. After the much more "techi" looking cameras as the 7000AF and later models. From the design is the 600si more my personal taste, although it feels slightly too much like plastic.
If I would have the choice between a 600si and an older 9000AF, I would go for the 9000.
