Beach Day

My daughter's swim team had their summer picnic. It started with 2 hours at the beach, followed by 2 hours at and around the biergarten on the shore of the lake. Here are a few of my favorite photos from that occasion.

Here, my daughter (left) hugs my stepdaughter. Why is this so funny to them? Because my daughter was wet and cold, and my stepdaughter didn't want to be wet and cold. Request declined!

Here is a fun little series. I was the full-time quarterback. My stepdaughter took all of these, with cropping and exposure correction applied later.

He started to run the ball forward, but when he saw he was about to get touched by the bigger boys, he turned around and ran the other way. (losing us yardage) You can see that I had a good laugh at this.
