A local camera shop has a used 75-210 f4-/6.5.6 for $150
Any comments on this lens. I have an N80.
Want to shoot sports and nature.
 
Popular Photography did a test of this lens against the then current 80-200mm/f2.8 and found little difference (I think) from f5.6 onward. Of course, I think the AFD 70-300mm ED is a killer lens for not much more money, and would probably be better balanced on an N80. Incidently, Pete Turner is on record as saying (on Nikon.Net) that the AFD 70-300mm ED is his favorite lens.
